Personal response to the rime I wandered lonely as cloud by William Wordsworth. I found William Wordsworths verse I wandered lonely as a cloud soundless fascinating. Although this rime is for the most part a real barren poem, Wordsworth still successfully captivates the reader and instills in them the feeling he describes himself as experiencing. When reading this poem I found myself really substantially falling into a trance in where I was also experiencing this wonderful memory. Wordsworth paints truly vivid images, which makes it easy for the readers to fall out themselves in the poem. In the first stanza Wordsworth describes himself as being a lonely cloud That floats on high oer vales and hills (2) When Wordsworth holds the word lonely here I do not think he intended on this to be negative.
